For a while I’ve had a placeholder up promising some investigator-focused material as a complement to the site’s expansion-focused Case Log. Just a few days ago I went live with the first piece of content for the “Rolodex” part of the site: a beginner-focused guide covering the Core Set investigators. Hop over and take a look if you haven’t already. For each Core Set investigator the guide has a brief introduction outlining their strengths, weaknesses, and general place in the game followed by sections with sample decklists, useful expansion purchases for that character, and general tips. The decklists are cultivated from among the public decks on ArkhamDB. You can use them as ready-made decklists to play, or as starting points or comparison points for your own lists.
I hope you find it useful. I intend to do similar guides for the investigators in The Dunwich Legacy and The Path to Carcosa when time permits.
